JANA produces the most widely used solvent cut of the basic liquid resin in Xylene. Apart from this, JANA also produces a lower molecular weight resin which has better compatibility with the acrylics and alkyd-amino combinations. These are versatile in application and are very widely used, cured by primary polyamines, polyamides, amino resins, phenol-formaldehyde hardeners. They also provide improved flexibility to the coatings.

1.89-2.22
450-530
200-250*
77-82
Unmodified type 1- epoxy resin in combination with amine hardeners to formulate corrosion resistance primer and topcoats. Resin has tendency to agglomerate at higher storage temperature.

1.43-1.67
600-670
280-340*
82-90
Unmodified type 1- epoxy resin with slightly higher melting range than Araldite® GT 7071, and therefore fewer tendencies to agglomerate at high storage temperatures compared with type-1 resin. Drying time is somewhat shorter and flexibility higher, but solids content is lower.
