The growth in the epoxy business shall be sustainable thanks to excellent customer service, a single fully backward integrated site, maximum output with highest EHS standards, low energy costs and a lean organization with motivated and skilled employees.

During September, the Board has agreed to implement the next steps of its company strategy to become an important player in the commodity epoxy business. JANA shall increase capacity of ECH by end of 2009 to 80,000 tons. As Epoxy resin shipping in view of EHS is more recommendable, JANA shall also expand its epoxy capacities to basically use the manufactured ECH inhouse. The target overall capacity of the different epoxy resins will be about 150,000 tons. The increase of capacity of epoxy resins shall be staggered over the next some years.
