JANA successfully started their Utilities & Chlor / Alkali plant in July 2008. The start up of the utilities & bipolar membrane plant went smooth and JANA is now producing Caustic Soda, Sodium Hypochlorite and Hydrochloric acid. Utilities is being used for the Chlor Alkali plant and existing epoxy plant.
