The available epoxy resins are the following:
A flow control master batch-Araldite® GT 2874 based on a type 4- epoxy resin modified with 10% of a liquid flow agent. The supply form of a liquid flow agent incorporated in a solid resin yields a flakeable resin, which can easily be mixed with other solid resins.
Araldite® GT 6750 is a resin, modified with a flow control agent to yield outstanding high flow and gloss properties. The pigment wetting performance of such resins could also be significantly improved therefore higher pigment loading is possible.
A 5 1/2 type epoxy resin -Araldite® GT 7074 - for functional powder coatings to improve flexibility and adhesion is introduced.
For the same end-use application -Araldite® GT 7255 - a Phenol Novolak modified type 7- epoxy resin is designed to improve the chemical and heat resistance of powder coatings for pipe application.
Regarding the packaging industry, high molecular weight type 9 epoxy resins Araldite® GT6099 and the low viscose resin Araldite® GT 6609 will be available. Both resins yield also high mechanical properties besides excellent sterilization performance.
In order to formulate low viscose self leveling floorings, mortars, grouts or crack injection materials the newly introduced reactive diluents modified low viscose epoxy resin - Araldite® GY 257 - will meet the applicator’s demand regarding viscosity and mechanical as well as chemical resistance.
